Our group truly appreciated what you did for us last week. Everyone I've spoken to loved it!

I just want to give you my opinion, too. I've been in the agriculture/conservation world for nearly 30 years. I honestly think that, because of your laid back demeanor and the incredibly obvious confidence that the birds have in you and that you have in them, you can do more for conservation than nearly anyone I've ever met. I mean this sincerely! Those kids on Friday saw raptors in a way that 99.9% of the population never has...they were actually allowed to see them up close and connect with them on a deeper level. I guarantee you, the kids (especially the ones who had the birds fly within a few feet of them) will never forget the experience. I heard one little boy exclaim that he loved raptors at one point. Keep doing what you are doing and know that being yourself and showing your genuine love for the birds is the best thing you could do. Your birds are beautiful and your bond speaks for itself. It's awesome really.
I've been to probably a dozen raptor programs in my life, and I've never been so close to the birds themselves. Being able to see them that close is unforgettable. It was really amazing to see them interact with you. You can actually see the level of trust that they have in you in their eyes and expressions towards you. My son (10 years old) noticed it too and talked about it on the way home.

Birthday

We accidentally stumbled upon Will and his birds of prey at Little Buffalo state park. After that meet and greet, Will was kind enough to host a birthday party for my daughter and it was a huge success. I had parents asking if they could stay and neighbors joining us for an awesome experience and up close look at his birds! I can't thank Will enough for the wonderful time everyone had! My daughter said this was the best birthday ever!

Memorial Lake Falconry Day

We stumbled upon Will's recent event on the Memorial Lake Facebook page and we decided to check it out. We were so glad that we did! Will's expertise was evident in not only the introductory information he provided and the audience questions he fielded with ease, but also in the bond he exhibits with his birds. We learned a tremendous amount of information today and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thank you for sharing your passion with us! We will definitely recommend checking out Raptor Place to our friends!

Falconry Day at Memorial Lake

I recently attended a Falconry Day at Memorial Lake State Park led by Will Weyant, and it was an incredible experience. His years of knowledge and passion for falconry really showed throughout the presentation. He kept everyone engaged from start to finish, sharing fascinating insights and stories while making sure to include the audience through questions and discussion. He answered every question thoroughly and clearly, showing just how much expertise he has in the field. It was both educational and inspiring — I left with a much deeper appreciation for the art and history of falconry. Highly recommend attending one of his events if you ever get the chance! This was wonderful for adults and kids as well.

Women Of The Wild Event

On 6/21/25 Will brought his beautiful birds to Martz's Game Farm for a women's event. The ladies were enthralled to learn about falconry and the work/bond that is shared with handler and bird. Plus I think the barn owls stole the show! We can't thank Will enough for sharing his passion with the ladies!!
