Sorry No Raptors For SaleCurrent Breeding Birds
Barn Owl
(Tyto alba) | Angel
(Female)
 | BREEDING STATS:
Most bird species don't start to incubate (warm) their eggs, until the clutch is complete so the eggs hatch at more or less the same time. Barn Owls on the other hand begin incubation as soon as the first egg is laid and additional eggs are added every two to three days. Incubation is completed almost entirely by the female, with the male feeding her daily for around 30-34 days.
Compared to other Owl species, Barn Owls clutch size and eggs themselves are quite unique. The eggs are small, in relation to the bird’s actual body size and will lay an average of 4-6 eggs but it has been recorded that up to 12 can be laid at a time.
NOTES: It is fun watching the male make sure she has food by her side!!

 | BREEDING STATS:
Harris hawks breed year-round, typically producing 2-3 clutches per year, and can have 3-15 eggs per clutch. They build their nests in trees and are known for their cooperative breeding behavior, with multiple hawks assisting in nest building, incubation, and feeding the young.
Breeding Season: While most Harris hawks nest in the spring (March through June), they can breed year-round and may have multiple clutches.
Incubation: Incubation period is 33-37 days.
Fledging: Young hawks fledge (start flying) at 35-45 days.
